Now Hiring: Paraprofessionals
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Paraprofessionals to support students and teachers during the 2026-2027 school year in Winnetka
Available Positions
- Part-Time Early Childhood Education (ECE) Morning Paraprofessional
- Full-Time Elementary School Paraprofessionals
Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- Up to 35 hours per week
- Includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch and two unpaid 15-minute breaks
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with classroom management and instructional support
- Provide one-on-one student assistance as needed
- Support students during classroom activities and learning sessions
- Help implement academic and behavioral support strategies
- Work with elementary-aged students, including those with challenging behaviors
- Assist with toileting and personal care needs when required
Requirements
- Active Illinois Paraprofessional Certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of school-based classroom experience
- Experience supporting elementary-aged students preferred
- Toileting experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced school environment
- Must provide at least 2 professional references, including names, phone numbers, and email addresses
