Step into a pivotal support role at a welcoming elementary school near Winnetka, IL, where you will have the opportunity to make a daily difference in students lives throughout the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time contract position offers a rewarding schedule, Monday through Friday, working 35 hours per week.

Youll serve as an instrumental teaching assistant, helping create an encouraging and structured classroom environment. Your dedication will positively impact elementary-aged students, particularly those who navigate challenging behaviors and benefit from individualized guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on instructional support and classroom management assistance to teachers
• Deliver individualized and small-group attention to students, including 1:1 support when required
• Assist students during classroom activities and during transitions throughout the school day
• Support students with toileting needs as necessary
• Cultivate a positive, inclusive atmosphere that nurtures each childs academic and social growth

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois Para certification required
• Minimum of two years experience in a classroom setting, ideally working with elementary-aged students
• Prior experience assisting with toileting responsibilities is strongly preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
