Make a genuine impact by supporting students as a Paraprofessional in a welcoming school community near Winchester, NH. Two enthusiastic professionals are needed to serve at both middle and high school levels for the upcoming academic year. This contract position runs Monday through Friday from late August through mid-June, providing a consistent and rewarding schedule that allows you to build strong connections with students in need of additional support.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Prior experience or interest in working as a Paraprofessional within school settings
• Comfort and flexibility with toileting, personal care, and assisting students with daily academic tasks
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families professionally
• Patience, compassion, and adaptability in high-energy school environments
• Experience supporting students with Autism, especially nonverbal individuals (highly desirable)

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one assistance to an 8th-grade student who is Autistic and nonverbal, ensuring safety, engagement, and participation throughout the school day
• Support a small group of high school students with IEPs, facilitating their learning and integration within general education settings
• Assist with classroom activities, behavior support, and modifications as directed by licensed educators
• Help with daily living tasks as necessary, including toileting and personal care
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere to promote student independence and confidence
