As a Paraprofessional (or PCA/LNA/CNA), you will make a significant impact on a students academic progress and personal development. This is a hands-on position, ideal for someone who is compassionate, reliable, and committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional, PCA, LNA, or CNA is preferred
• Familiarity with life skills or special education programs is highly valued
• Ability to support a student both academically and with daily needs such as toileting (following a specific toileting plan) and positioning
• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to a student in the life skills program, assisting with academic tasks as directed by the teacher
• Implement a toileting and positioning plan consistently and respectfully
• Encourage the students independence and participation in classroom activities
• Document daily progress and maintain open communication with educational staff
• Foster a supportive and respectful classroom environment at all times

This contract role is scheduled Monday through Friday from 8:50 a.m. to 3:22 p.m., starting as soon as possible and continuing through June 2026. You'll be working within an engaging elementary setting where your contribution will truly matter.
