Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Paraeducator Permit required at the time of application (pending permits accepted with supporting documentation)
• Experience as a paraprofessional or in educational support preferred
• Willingness to float between different elementary, middle, and high school settings as needed
• Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, with flexibility to adapt to varying schedules within the 7:05am3:40pm timeframe depending on school assignment
• Comfortable paying for $85 CBC fingerprinting as mandated

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent paraprofessional support to students and teachers across multiple campuses, filling in for scheduled and unplanned absences
• Assist in classroom activities, help manage student behavior, and foster an inclusive learning environment as directed by lead educators
• Adapt to a variety of instructional settings, working cooperatively with multiple teams and staff members throughout the week
• Maintain a professional and reliable presence, ensuring continuity of care for all students served
