A school-based opportunity is available for a full-time paraprofessional working with elementary students in a life skills program. The position supports students with diverse needs in an essential/life skills curriculum and requires dedication to fostering a supportive learning environment.

Duration:
- Full semester contract
- Start date: ASAP through May 29, 2026
- Hours: 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, full-time
Responsibilities:
- Assist students in an elementary life skills program focusing on essential skills
- Provide support with toileting, feeding, and hygiene care as needed
- Work closely with students with disabilities and medical needs, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized support plans
Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois paraprofessional certification required
- Experience working with students with disabilities and medical needs is essential
- Willingness and ability to assist with personal care activities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
