School Setting: Elementary School
Position: Instructional Assistant (3 Openings)
Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week
Hours: 7:45 AM - 3:45 PM
Assignment Dates: ASAP - End of School Year

We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Instructional Assistants to support elementary students with intensive special education needs. These positions are within a regional special education program serving students in self-contained classrooms who require significant academic, behavioral, and functional support throughout the school day.

Small-group support with some potential 1:1 assignments
Multiple openings available
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support to students with significant educational and behavioral needs
Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities
Support students in individual and small-group learning environments
Implement classroom routines, accommodations, and behavior support strategies
Foster student independence, communication, and social skills
Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff
Assist students throughout daily academic and functional activities
Qualifications
Experience working with children preferred
Special education experience highly preferred
Ability to work with students who have intensive support needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Patient, professional, and student-focused approach
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
