An exciting opportunity is available for a motivated Paraprofessional to make a direct impact within a supportive educational environment near Weare, NH. This contract position runs from August 2026 through June 2027, following the local school calendar.

Youll play an essential role in assisting and guiding students by working closely under the supervision and direction of educators and specialists. Bring your initiative and compassion to a collaborative team that prioritizes the diverse needs and growth of each student.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Paraeducator I or Paraeducator II Certification is required
• Experience with students of varying strengths, abilities, and needs is preferred
• Proficient interpersonal skills
• Positive, cooperative problem-solving approach
• Motivation to work collaboratively within a team setting
• Familiarity with computers and assistive technology
• Strong organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

• Work alongside teachers, administrators, and specialists to ensure educational benefit for all students
• Follow and implement lesson plans created by Special Education Teachers, Classroom Teachers, and related service providers (e.g., Speech-Language Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, Psychologist, Consultants)
• Provide guidance and support to students in classroom and small group settings
• Foster a welcoming, inclusive learning atmosphere
• Assist students in utilizing learning tools, technology, and other accommodations
• Help maintain records and support student progress as directed
• Encourage positive student behaviors and interactions
