Key Qualifications:
- Paraprofessional certification or licensure as required by state regulations
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, particularly in behavioral support
- Knowledge of effective behavioral plan implementation strategies
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to take direction and collaborate effectively with supervising staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support classroom instruction by assisting the lead teacher and working directly with students
- Implement and monitor individualized behavioral plans under professional supervision
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Communicate regularly with educators and staff regarding student progress
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all student interactions
All onboarding, including district-specific training and fingerprinting, is provided to ensure a smooth transition into your new role. Scheduling is full-time throughout the remainder of the school year, with panel-style, onsite interviews for selection.
