Seeking two dedicated paraprofessionals to support students across elementary to high school levels near Northbrook, IL. This contract position is full-time with opportunities for substitute roles, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in diverse classroom settings. The role requires an ISBE-issued IEIN para certification and values prior experience in educational support.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid IEIN para certification issued by ISBE
- Experience working with students from elementary through high school preferred
- Ability to assist with a broad caseload, adapting to various educational needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with educators and staff
Location:
- Near Northbrook, Illinois
Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional and behavioral support to students in classrooms spanning elementary to high school
- Assist certified teachers with lesson implementation and individualized student support
- Monitor and promote student engagement and academic progress
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Attend training and meetings as required
