Step into an impactful role supporting K-5 students in a thriving educational environment as an Educational Technician (II or III). This contract position spans the academic year from August 2026 through June 2027 and offers a rewarding opportunity to work closely with students utilizing a life skills-based curriculum.
As an essential member of our team, youll provide tailored assistance both in and out of the classroom, using your skills and dedication to foster growth and independence in young learners.
Key Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Educational Technician II or III certificate (required)
- Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar school-based support role
- Understanding of life skills curriculum and instructional strategies
- Patience, compassion, and a positive attitude toward working with diverse student populations
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Ability to commit to a 32-hour per week schedule throughout the academic year
Core Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to implement individualized and group instructional activities
- Provide academic, behavioral, and life skills support based on students needs
- Assist with data collection and documentation for student progress
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom atmosphere
- Help students with tasks that promote independence and confidence
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as required
