Key Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist special education teachers in implementing instructional activities and behavioral support strategies
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, ensuring engagement and progress toward academic and behavioral goals
  • Foster a welcoming and inclusive learning space, promoting positive social interactions
  • Support students participation in classroom and school routines
  • Help monitor and document student progress and communicate observations to teaching staff
  • Uphold a safe and respectful environment for all students
