Job Description

Youll provide one-on-one support for a student, assisting with behavioral strategies and academic tasks throughout the school day.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous paraprofessional or classroom support experience preferred
- Ability to implement positive behavioral intervention strategies
- Understanding of academic support techniques for elementary-age learners
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Patience, adaptability, and a warm, encouraging presence
- Ability to follow individualized education plans (IEPs) and teacher guidance
What Youll Do:
- Provide direct, 1:1 support to an elementary student needing behavioral and academic assistance
- Support classroom routines and contribute to a positive learning environment
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, and administration to meet student needs
- Foster social-emotional growth and independence
- Utilize strategies and tools to encourage positive behavior and participation
- Adapt instruction and activities as needed for student engagement
