This is a waitlist positionwhile an immediate placement isnt guaranteed, qualified professionals may be called upon with just 2-3 days' notice as opportunities arise. Key Qualifications:
- Active, valid credentials as a paraprofessional (required)
- At least two full years of recent experience as a paraprofessional, Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or similar role in schools
- Extensive hands-on experience supporting students with special education needs (SPED)
- Willingness to work with any age group or caseload, including students requiring toileting or diapering assistance if needed
- Dependable, punctual, and able to adhere meticulously to sign-in/sign-out procedures for timekeeping
- Ready to start on very short notice (within 2-3 days) when placements become available
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality instructional and behavioral support to students across various age groups and ability levels
- Collaborate closely with educators and multidisciplinary teams to foster student progress
- Assist with classroom management and implement IEPs/behavior plans
- Support students with personal care needs when required, ensuring dignity and respect
