Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role within schools preferred
• Familiarity with working 1:1 with students, particularly in elementary grades, is highly valued
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive environment and build rapport with young learners
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both students and teaching staff
• Dependability and professionalism for consistent, daily onsite support

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized assistance to an elementary student, supporting their academic, social, and daily classroom needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, specialists, and parents to ensure cohesive support strategies
• Encourage student engagement and promote safe, welcoming learning experiences
• Document and monitor student progress as requested
• Help maintain an organized and supportive classroom setting
