What Youll Bring:

• Prior experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar educational support role
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to student success and adaptability in a classroom setting
• CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required; CPI training may be provided if not currently certified
• High school diploma or equivalent required

What Youll Do:

• Provide direct classroom support to high school students and teachers, fostering an inclusive and productive environment
• Assist with implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed by instructional staff
• Help students with academic and personal development tasks
• Utilize de-escalation strategies and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for all students and staff
• Collaborate with educational team members to deliver targeted support and interventions
• Maintain a positive and professional rapport with students, staff, and families
