Job Description
Support students from Kindergarten through 12th grade as an Educational Assistant/Paraprofessional for the 2025-2026 school year in Taos, NM. This full-time role (32-37 hours per week) offers a valuable opportunity to contribute directly to student success in a dynamic school environment. Candidates will engage in both in-person and virtual interviews, providing flexibility in the hiring process.
Key Qualifications:
- Certified as a Level 3 Educational Assistant or Substitute
- Open to applicants currently pursuing the certification
- Experience or interest as a Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred
- Ability to work supporting diverse student behaviors
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate learning in classrooms, supporting teachers and students
- Implement classroom activities and behavior interventions as needed
- Collaborate with staff to address individual student needs
- Adapt to varying behaviors and maintain a positive learning environment
