Paraprofessional opportunity in Stamford, CT for the 2026/27 School year
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals to support students in a specialized K-3 program for the 2026-2027 school year. This program serves students with significant developmental disabilities in a highly structured classroom environment focused on academic, behavioral, and functional skill development.
Position Details
- Full-time schedule
- 2026-2027 school year
- Supporting K-3 students with developmental disabilities
- Work alongside Special Education Teachers and a collaborative support team
- Assist with academic instruction, behavioral support, and daily living skills
- Participate in PMT (Prevention and Management Training) for crisis intervention procedures
- Provide toileting assistance as needed
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Active Connecticut Paraprofessional certification or ability to meet state requirements
- Comfortable supporting students with significant developmental and behavioral needs
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and related service providers
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
