School Based Behavior Support Provider (RBT, ABA Paraprofessional, Behavioral Paraprofessional)

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering in Springfield, Vermont to hire multiple Behavior Support Providers for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking dedicated professionals with experience in behavior support, ABA, special education, or related fields to help support students across a variety of educational settings.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a district that is actively rebuilding and expanding its behavior support program, including new pilot initiatives for the upcoming school year.

Position Details
Location: Springfield, VT
School Year: 2026-2027
Start Date: August 26, 2026
End Date: June 14, 2027
Schedule: Full-Time
Hours: 35-37.5 hours per week
Caseload: K-12 students
Sites: Supporting students across 4 district buildings

About the Program

Springfield is launching a revamped behavior support program for the 2026-2027 school year. The district will be implementing pilot projects designed to strengthen behavioral and educational outcomes for students.

A newly hired district BCBA will oversee the program. RBT candidates who currently receive supervision from an outside BCBA are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral support to students in educational settings
  • Implement behavior intervention plans and support strategies
  • Assist students with academic, social, and behavioral goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and behavior teams
  • Collect and document behavioral data as required
  • Promote positive student engagement and success throughout the school day
  • Support the implementation of ABA-based interventions when applicable

Preferred Qualifications

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
  • Experience working in ABA, behavior support, special education, or school settings
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work with students exhibiting challenging behaviors
  • Experience implementing behavior plans and collecting behavioral data
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate's degree, bachelor's degree, or relevant experience preferred
