Looking for a meaningful contract opportunity working with high school students in a life skills classroom? This engaging role as a paraprofessional offers the chance to make a real impact in the educational journey of exceptional learners. With a Monday-Friday schedule (7:00 AM 2:30 PM) and a caseload supporting a diverse group rather than a 1:1 assignment, youll work to foster growth and independence in students while enjoying a collaborative school environment. The assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through the school year, ending in late May 2027.

Key Qualifications:

• At least one year of prior paraprofessional experience required
• Paraprofessional certification, 48+ college credits, or an associate degree (or higher); if not currently held, willingness to obtain certification within 60 days of hire
• Positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine commitment to student success
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Background working with life skills students or in special education settings is a plus

Core Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction by assisting students in life skills programs
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized student support plans
• Encourage student independence while providing necessary guidance
• Contribute to classroom management and organization
