- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education or related field a plus
- Patience, adaptability, and a genuine desire to encourage student growth
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students under the supervision of a classroom teacher
- Assist in implementing lesson plans, classroom activities, and educational accommodations
- Foster a positive, inclusive environment to help students reach their academic and social goals
- Offer one-on-one or small group instruction and reinforcement of concepts
- Aid with classroom organization, material preparation, and documentation
- Support students with transitions, self-management, and daily routines
