Job Description
Support students with diverse behavioral, emotional, and special education needs as a dedicated paraprofessional in Simi Valley, CA. This full-time, onsite role involves working closely with students who have moderate to severe caseloads and/or medical requirements. Youll provide 1:1 or group assistance, contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment during the upcoming 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with various behavioral, emotional, and special education challenges
- Support students individually or in small groups based on caseload needs
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement appropriate educational strategies
- Monitor and respond to medical needs in the school setting
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate updates as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional in educational settings
- Ability to manage and support moderate to severe behavioral and special education needs
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate and attentive support to students
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite position located in Simi Valley, California
- Full-time contract, Monday through Friday, 31.25 hours per week
