This contract opportunity opens the door to work closely with one school throughout the ESY session, allowing you to form lasting connections with students and staff alike. With a consistent weekday schedule (MondayFriday, 7:50am3:50pm) and full-time hours, youll play a vital role in nurturing an inclusive and empowering atmosphere where every student has a chance to thrive.

What we're seeking:

• Valid Paraprofessional Certification (Parapro Cert required)
• Experience working with high school-aged students, especially those requiring additional support
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to uphold positive, proactive classroom management practices
• Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic school settings

Your key responsibilities:

• Assist in classroom activities, implementing lesson plans, and supporting educators in day-to-day functions
• Foster a safe and encouraging space for students with diverse abilities and backgrounds
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance, adapting support as needed
• Support students in academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
• Act as a liaison between students and teaching staff to ensure the highest quality of care and assistance
