Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or childcare settings
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and/or 504 Plans preferred

  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • High school diploma or completion of a recognized paraprofessional certification required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide instructional support to students under the guidance of teachers and specialists

  • Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
  • Encourage participation, engagement, and independence in classroom activities
  • Monitor and document student progress while maintaining confidentiality
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming learning environment
  • Facilitate communication between students, educators, and families as needed
  • Perform additional classroom or school duties as assigned by supervising staff
