Position Details
- Position: Educational Assistant II (EA2) / Special Education Paraprofessional
- Location: Seabrook, NH
- Schedule: 30 Hours Weekly
- Contract Dates: October 19 June 16
- School Assignment: 1 School Location
- Supervision Provided by District
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one support for students with special education needs
- Assist in small group instructional settings
- Support implementation of IEP accommodations and goals
- Reinforce academic, behavioral, and social-emotional objectives
- Assist with behavior management strategies
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
- Support students throughout the school day in classroom and school settings
Qualifications
- Previous school experience preferred
- Special education experience strongly preferred
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to student needs
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and support various student populations
- EA2 Certification or willingness to obtain certification after hire
