Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a school support role is highly preferred
• Understanding of classroom procedures and positive behavior strategies

• Patience, flexibility, and a caring attitude essential for student support
• Ability to follow teacher directions and adapt to a changing school environment

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Work one-on-one or in small groups to assist students academically and behaviorally
• Support classroom teachers by helping implement lesson plans and modifying materials
• Assist with transitions, classroom management, and ensuring a safe learning environment
• Foster a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for students with diverse needs
• Supervise students in various settings (classroom, playground, lunchroom)
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to school policies and procedures
