Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Previous experience working with children in educational or caregiving settings preferred
• Ability to assist students with instructional tasks as directed by the classroom teacher
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build supportive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine interest in helping students with diverse abilities
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework or relevant certification a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide instructional and behavioral support to students, both one-on-one and in group settings
• Assist with classroom management and preparation of learning materials
• Support students with special needs in accordance with their individual education plans (IEPs)
• Help facilitate a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all learners
• Collaborate with teachers and specialists to reinforce lesson plans and adapt activities as needed
• Supervise students during non-classroom times such as recess or transitions
