Job Overview
We are hiring Paraprofessionals (Paras) for onsite, school-based positions in San Francisco, CA. These roles involve providing 1:1 classroom support, behavior management, and student aide services for elementary students.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in special education, classroom support, behavioral health, or education who are looking to make a meaningful impact.
Schedule / Hours
School Year: August 17 June 2
Hours: Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Positions Available
Paraprofessional (School-Based)
Provide 1:1 support for students in the classroom
Assist with academic tasks, daily routines, and transitions
Support behavior management and classroom engagement
Collaborate with teachers and support staff
Requirements
One of the following is required:
Associates Degree or higher
OR 48 college units and a High School Diploma
OR Passing of CBEST and a High School Diploma
OR Passing of the Instructional Aide Exam and a High School Diploma
Successful annual completion of Emergency Anti-Seizure Medication Training Module
Successful completion of Community First Aid and CPR training every two (2) years (funded through district)
Experience in special education, behavioral support, or school settings preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
