Step into a rewarding contract role supporting elementary-aged students in a special day classroom. This paraprofessional opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through June 11th, 2027, with a schedule of 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

You'll play an integral part in a 3rd5th grade classroom designed for students with moderate to severe needs, sharing your skills and compassion to make a genuine impact. The classroom has 9 students, most of whom have 1:1 paraprofessional support. In this role, your primary responsibility is to cover breaks for the 1:1 paraprofessional staff, while providing additional support within the classroom as needed. Your flexibility and collaborative attitude will help maintain a positive learning environment for both students and staff.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Previous experience working with students or children is required
• Ability to collaborate with teachers and other paraprofessionals
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of classroom needs throughout the day
• Patience, empathy, and a sincere passion for helping children succeed
• Experience in special education settings considered a plus
