Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar classroom support role
• Understanding of the needs of diverse learners, including students requiring additional assistance or accommodations
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with students, teachers, and staff
• Adaptability and a proactive, positive attitude in dynamic school settings
• High school diploma or equivalent (additional coursework or certification in education is a plus)
• Commitment to encouraging student growth, independence, and engagement

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering instructional activities and reinforcing lessons
• Support students one-on-one or in small groups, adapting assignments as needed
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere
• Assist with classroom organization, preparing materials, and supervising students during various activities
• Collaborate with educators and specialists to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) where applicable
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers
• Participate in training sessions and staff meetings as required
