Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract role supporting students as a Paraprofessional in vibrant school settings near San Francisco, CA. Positions are available for the Extended School Year (ESY) between June and July 2026, with opportunities across Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, High School, and County Programs. You must be flexible and ready to work with students with diverse needsresponsibilities may include assisting with feeding, toileting, G-tube, and more. Your adaptability and team spirit are critical, as placements are determined by campus needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Associates degree or higher, OR 48+ college units and a high school diploma, OR passing of CBEST/Instructional Aide Exam with a high school diploma (required for all positions)
  • Additional credentials such as CPR/First Aid, anti-seizure medication training, training in physical health care procedures, or specialized coursework in Braille or sign language preferredplease highlight these if applicable
  • For select roles: one or more years supporting students with significant behavioral/social-emotional needs, or experience with visual/hearing impairment supports
  • Willingness and ability to perform all assigned tasks, including personal care, under the direction of school administration

What Youll Do:

  • Deliver hands-on support to students with a range of learning, communication, and care needs
  • Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment in partnership with educators
  • Manage and assist with students personal care needs as assigned
  • Collaborate closely with school staff and ensure documentation and required training certifications are kept current

Additional Information: Schedules align with programs ranging from early morning to afternoon (see detailed shift schedules above for specific grade/age groups).
