Key Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a classroom support role
- Familiarity with elementary grade curriculum and student developmental stages
- Ability to effectively address and support behavioral needs in a positive manner
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with teachers, students, and families
- Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with diverse learners

Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 assistance to an assigned student, tailoring support to their individual academic and behavioral requirements
- Assist with implementing educational and behavioral strategies designed by teachers and specialists
- Encourage student participation in classroom activities, offering guidance and motivation throughout the day
- Collaborate closely with educators on progress monitoring and adapting supports as needed
- Facilitate a safe, respectful, and engaging classroom climate where every student feels empowered
- Help with classroom management and support the teacher in daily instructional routines
