Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and supportive Paraprofessional to assist students in both one-on-one and small group settings within a school environment. This role focuses on helping students with diverse learning needs, including behavioral challenges and developmental differences, to enhance their academic, social, and emotional development.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students in 1:1 and small group settings
  • Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
  • Support students with behavior management, transitions, and daily routines
  • Help reinforce IEP goals and accommodations
  • Monitor student progress and communicate updates with school staff
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and other support staff

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
  • Experience supporting students with behavioral or learning needs is a plus
  • Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
  • High school diploma required; additional education or certifications preferred

Compensation for this position ranges from $16.00 to $58.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
