Now Hiring: Full-Time Paraprofessional

Location: St. Francis, Minnesota
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: May 26, 2027
Schedule: 35 Hours per Week | Monday-Friday | 7:15 AM - 2:15 PM

Position Overview

Seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to support students in a middle school resource classroom. This is a rewarding opportunity for an education professional who enjoys working closely with students and helping them achieve academic and personal success in a supportive school environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide academic and classroom support to middle school students.
  • Assist teachers with instructional activities and classroom management.
  • Support students in meeting individual educational goals.
  • Reinforce lessons and learning strategies in both small-group and individual settings.
  • Help maintain a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school personnel to support student success.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the educational team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of paraprofessional experience in a school setting required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must meet one of the following qualification pathways:
    • Completion of at least 60 college credits from an accredited institution, OR
    • Associate's degree or higher, OR
    • Passing score on an approved paraprofessional assessment, including:
      • ParaPro Assessment (455 passing score), or
      • ParaEducator Assessment (65% Instructional Support and 70% Knowledge & Application).
