Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must meet at least one of the following:
    • Completion of at least two years of college credits (approximately 60 semester credits) from an accredited institution.
    • Possession of an associate degree or higher.
    • A passing score on an approved basic skills assessment (such as ParaPro Assessment: 455+; ParaEducator: 65% on Instructional Support & 70% on Knowledge and Application).

Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted instructional support to students in both resource and center-based classrooms.
  • Assist lead teachers with classroom management and the delivery of planned activities.
  • Participate in implementing individualized student goals and support plans.
  • Foster an inclusive, positive, and engaging learning environment for students of varying needs.
  • Adapt to different classroom environments and assignments as needed.
