Job Description

What Were Looking For:

  • Active CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Previous experience as a paraprofessional, behavior technician, or classroom aide
  • Ability to support students with high behavioral needs in a mod-severe educational environment
  • Adaptable, resilient, and collaborative team player
  • Committed to following student-specific intervention plans and maintaining a safe, positive learning space
  • Willingness to work across various locations within the county, including El Dorado Hills, Shingle Springs, Placerville, and Camino

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students needing 1:1 assistance or general classroom support
  • Promote student independence and positive behaviors through consistent guidance
  • Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to implement intervention plans
  • Foster a safe, encouraging environment for all learners
  • Assist in daily classroom management and data collection on student progress
  • Respond professionally and promptly to behavioral challenges
