This full-time contract opportunity offers stability and the potential for extension while working onsite in an engaging school environment near Ridgefield, CT. With a start date of August 27th, you'll become a vital partner to teachers and staff, contributing your skills and experience to a dynamic team.
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience supporting students in a school setting (required)
- For those with RBT certification: previous clinic or in-home experience strongly preferred
- Comfortable working across a range of elementary age groups
- Able to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families
- Flexibility in adapting to classroom needs and student learning styles
- Passionate about promoting student growth, inclusion, and success
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct in-classroom support to students and teachers
- Assist with implementing educational and behavioral strategies
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
- Offer individualized attention and guidance where needed
- Help with classroom organization and preparation of instructional materials
- Collaborate with educational staff to address students academic and social needs
