Paraprofessional | Elementary School Support | Raymond, NH
Location: Raymond, New Hampshire
Position: Paraprofessional (2 Openings)
School Setting: Elementary School
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 32.5 Hours Per Week
Daily Hours: 8:25 AM - 3:25 PM
Assignment Dates: Late August 2026 - June 2027
Support Young Learners in a Special Education Setting
We are seeking two compassionate and dependable Paraprofessionals to support students at the elementary level throughout the 2026-2027 school year. These positions are ideal for candidates who are passionate about education, behavioral support, and helping students achieve academic, social, and emotional success.
Candidates should have experience working with students who require behavioral support, and experience supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is strongly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct support to students in classroom settings
Assist teachers with instructional and behavioral support strategies
Work with students individually and in small groups
Implement behavior intervention plans and classroom accommodations
Support students' academic, social, and emotional development
Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers
Assist with daily classroom activities and routines
Qualifications
Previous experience working with children required
Behavior experience required
Experience working with students with autism preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain patient, flexible, and supportive in various situations
School-based or special education experience highly preferred
