Job Description

This opportunity is for Educational Assistants and Paraprofessionals to support students in a school setting for the 2025-2026 school year in Ranchos De Taos, NM. This contract-to-hire role involves working directly with students, including those requiring Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services as Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs). Candidates will engage in both virtual and in-person interviews during the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in delivering educational support both in-person and virtually
  • Implement behavior interventions in collaboration with ABA therapy guidelines
  • Support classroom teachers in daily instructional tasks
  • Monitor and document student progress and behaviors
  • Engage with students requiring behavioral support to foster learning and growth

Qualifications:

  • Must be certified as a Level 3 Educational Assistant or approved substitute
  • Applicants in the process of obtaining certification are welcome to apply
  • Experience or certification as a Paraprofessional, ABA Therapist, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is valuable
  • Ability to work full time, 32-37 hours per week
  • Flexibility to adapt to varying student behaviors and learning needs
