Job Description

Support students learning and personal growth in an engaging educational environment as a contract paraprofessional. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute directly to students development while collaborating closely with teachers and other staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous paraprofessional or classroom support experience is desirable
• Comfort assisting students one-on-one and in small groups
• Ability to follow and implement teacher-directed lesson plans and strategies
• Patience, reliability, and excellent communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in education a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside teachers to provide individualized or small group assistance to students
• Support classroom management and help cultivate a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Assist with daily activities, instructional tasks, and behavioral support as needed
• Foster understanding by encouraging student participation and engagement
• Help prepare instructional materials and organize classroom resources
• Monitor student progress and report observations to teaching staff
• Accompany and assist students during school activities, transitions, and as directed
