Job Description

Support students in a vibrant educational environment as one of ten needed paraprofessionals for the upcoming academic year. Qualifications:

  • Proof of high school diploma required; no additional certifications or advanced education necessary
  • School-based experience preferred, but not required
  • Ability to provide three completed references, including your most recent manager, before interviewing
  • Strong communication skills, reliability, and motivation to support diverse learners

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and manage small group or individualized support for students
  • Support students with special needs and ensure inclusive participation in classroom routines
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and engaging learning environment
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and provide feedback on student progress
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to a variety of instructional and classroom settings

Enjoy a consistent workweek of 32.5 hours, following either Middle School hours (7:10am-2:10pm) or High School hours (7:30am-2:30pm), with a dedicated 30-minute unpaid lunch break. The assignment runs from September 1, 2026, through June 16, 2027, offering the chance to build valuable experience in education.
