Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar classroom-based support role is highly valued.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications (such as ParaPro assessment) preferred.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to follow teacher direction and established classroom routines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exhibit professionalism in all interactions.
• Flexibility to work across various grade levels and adapt to changing student needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in implementing lesson plans and activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support, including with special education students as needed.
• Help manage classroom behavior and reinforce positive conduct.
• Maintain accurate records and assist in student assessments under teacher guidance.
• Support students in developing social, life, and academic skills.
• Foster a safe, respectful, and welcoming learning environment.
