This contract opportunity calls for someone who thrives in a supportive role, working one-on-one to provide daily assistance and guidance to students with special needs. The position runs from now through June 16, 2027, with work hours from 8:15AM to 3:15PM each weekday.

Youll be an essential part of a dedicated students school day, helping foster their independence and confidence. The role requires direct support, including toileting and diapering assistance, in a safe, respectful manner. Candidates must bring patience, genuine care for students, and adaptability.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma required
• Previous school-based paraprofessional experience
• Ability to obtain and complete all Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation for onsite attendance
• Comfortable working with students in the SPED (Special Education) population
• Willingness to provide personal care, including toileting and diapering
• Ready to work 1:1 with students, offering individualized support
• Open to completing a virtual interview via Zoom

Key Responsibilities:

• Support assigned student throughout the school day in both academic and non-academic settings
• Assist with daily personal and physical needs, including hygiene and mobility support
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Collaborate with teachers and related service providers to implement individual education plans (IEPs)
• Maintain a respectful, encouraging presence that promotes student dignity and confidence
