Multiple full-time contract opportunities are available for dedicated paraprofessionals and teacher assistants starting soonhelp create a positive environment for learners and gain valuable experience in special and early education.
Your role will focus on providing assistance and encouragement to students in programs such as Transition Autistic Support, Early Intervention, School Age Emotional Support, and Intensive Autistic Support. Positions are available across several educational centers and itinerant locations, bringing growth and the chance to make a difference every day.
What Were Looking For:
- Experience as a paraprofessional or teacher assistant, ideally in educational or special education settings
- Compassionate, patient, and adaptable with strong communication skills
- Understanding of autism spectrum, emotional support needs, or early intervention preferred
- Willingness to work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and school staff
- Motivation to support the diverse needs of students and foster their independence
What Youll Be Doing:
- Provide academic and behavioral support to students inside and outside of the classroom
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, lesson implementation, and individualized education plans
- Encourage student participation and facilitate social skills development
- Help track student progress and communicate effectively with the instructional team
- Adapt to different locations and grade levels as needed
