Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Personal Care Assistant or Teachers Assistant, serving students from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Situated near the vibrant city of Philadelphia, PA, this role offers a meaningful way to contribute to the daily lives of children and help cultivate their educational journey. Your support will be essential in classrooms, providing personalized care and educational assistance in a friendly, collaborative environment.

Hours range from 7:30am to 4:00pm, with some flexibility in start and end times to fit school schedules.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a Paraprofessional, Personal Care Assistant, or Teachers Assistant in a school setting
• Comfort working with children in both one-on-one and group settings
• Ability to support childrens emotional, social, and educational development
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with educators and families
• Patience and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students

What Youll Do:

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities
• Provide individualized attention and personal care to students who need extra support
• Foster a safe and positive learning environment
• Help to implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as needed
• Facilitate student participation, organization, and independence throughout the school day
• Support students during classroom transitions, lunch, and recess activities
