Key Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current Paraeducator I or Paraeducator II Certification.
• Prior experience supporting students with a wide range of abilities is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills, using a positive and cooperative approach to problem-solving.
• Eagerness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Comfortable operating computers and various assistive technologies.
• Demonstrated organizational skills to help maintain effective classroom routines.

Role Responsibilities:

• Assist, support, and take direction from teachers, administrators, and specialists.
• Implement lesson plans and instructional activities as provided by licensed professionalsincluding classroom teachers, special education teachers, speech and occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and consultants.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students and staff.
• Support students in daily classroom tasks, provide one-on-one or small group instruction when needed, and help manage the learning environment.
• Foster positive and inclusive experiences for all students under the guidance of supervising educators.
