Step into a meaningful contract position supporting students in a dynamic educational environment near Peterborough, NH. As a Paraprofessional, you'll collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, administrators, and a dedicated support team to enhance the educational experiences of students with diverse needs. This opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027, in alignment with the official school calendar.
Key Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Current Paraeducator I or Paraeducator II Certification.
- Prior experience supporting students with a wide range of abilities is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills, using a positive and cooperative approach to problem-solving.
- Eagerness to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Comfortable operating computers and various assistive technologies.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to help maintain effective classroom routines.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assist, support, and take direction from teachers, administrators, and specialists.
- Implement lesson plans and instructional activities as provided by licensed professionalsincluding classroom teachers, special education teachers, speech and occupational therapists, physical therapists, psychologists, and consultants.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with students and staff.
- Support students in daily classroom tasks, provide one-on-one or small group instruction when needed, and help manage the learning environment.
- Foster positive and inclusive experiences for all students under the guidance of supervising educators.
