Job Description

Make a meaningful impact in the lives of high school students as a Paraprofessional for a contract assignment. This position offers an opportunity to provide classroom support at the secondary education level, working onsite with a dedicated team. Begin as soon as possible and continue through late May 2026, supporting the academic and personal growth of students in a rewarding environment.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Experience as a paraprofessional in a school or related educational setting
  • Familiarity with classroom routines and supporting teachers with student learning
  • Current CPI and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain them (CPI can be provided)
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with staff and students
  • Patience, flexibility, and a genuine commitment to supporting high school students

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to teachers and students within high school classrooms
  • Assist with academic activities, behavioral interventions, and individual student programs
  • Contribute to a safe and positive classroom environment
  • Work with students requiring additional assistance, helping to implement accommodations and interventions
  • Participate in professional development and required training (including CPI and CPR if not current)
  • Communicate regularly with classroom teachers and staff regarding student progress and needs
