Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners in a K-2 instructional program classroom. The role is onsite, working a consistent schedule of 35 hours per week from 7:50am to 3:10pm during the 26/27 school year.

Your days will be filled with providing direct instructional support, assisting students with classroom activities, and offering necessary personal care when neededincluding toileting, feeding, and lifting. By working closely with educators and helping students foster essential skills, youll become an integral part of their growth and development.

Ideal candidates bring:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or related classroom support role
• Comfort working with K-2 children and supporting their academic and personal needs
• ISBE Approval or eligibility for Short Term Approval (easy process to secure)
• The ability to lift or physically assist children as needed
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, team-oriented approach

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting classroom instruction and activities directly for K-2 students
• Helping with daily living tasks, including personal care needs
• Collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure a safe, inclusive environment
• Monitoring student progress and encouraging positive engagement
• Adhering to school protocols for student safety and confidentiality
