Job Description

Make a meaningful impact working as a paraprofessional, supporting a visually impaired 11th grade student in a dynamic educational environment. Based in Harrisville, RI, this contract position allows you to work one-on-one, providing dedicated assistance while gaining valuable experience in the field of education. Youll also play an integral role supporting the Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI) by preparing materials that enhance the students learning experience. This is a rewarding opportunity for candidates passionate about helping students thrive.

Key details:

  • 32.5 hours per week, with a Monday through Friday schedule for optimal work-life balance
  • Caseload consists of one student, ensuring focused and personalized support
  • Collaborate closely with the TVI, who is onsite three times per week
  • The primary age group served is K-5
