Job Description

Seeking dedicated professionals passionate about supporting students in a school setting! This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a real difference in the lives of K-12 students across a range of educational environments. Multiple paraprofessional positions are available, and selected candidates will collaborate closely with lead teachers and support staff to enrich the academic and social experiences of young learners.

Openings exist in diverse classroom settings, including Lifeskills, Autism (SAILS), Behavior (BSC), and high-incidence support rooms. Applicants will be matched to caseloads that suit their strengths and preferences, allowing you to have the greatest impact while supporting your own professional growth.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Prior experience working in schools is highly valued
  • Experience supporting children with disabilities, including autism, behavioral challenges, or significant learning needs
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
  • Adaptability and patience in dynamic classroom environments
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional relevant education or certifications a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students individually or in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers to implement individualized education plans and classroom accommodations
  • Assist with daily living skills, behavior management, and student transitions throughout the school day
  • Promote an inclusive, supportive learning atmosphere for all students
